  11. Doing other things while dragging the mouse ?

  13. I am developing an application which has to control a machine through the
  14. serial port. It is very important that this happens also while the user is
  15. dragging the thumb of a control (at least once every few seconds). The user
  16. should not be able to block that action if he presses the mouse button too
  17. long.
  18. As far as I see TrackMouse is called by MacApp in a tight loop, so that no
  19. other code is executed while the user is pressing the button.
  20. Is there a possibility to change that behaviour to allow execution of
  21. cohandlers for example ?
